CAAS aluminum sheet: ITC schedules full sunset reviews
ITC full five-year review schedule for common alloy aluminum sheet AD and CVD orders. Appearance deadline, hearing, briefing calendar, and duty/drawback notes.
The U.S. International Trade Commission schedules full five-year reviews to determine whether revocation of countervailing duty orders on common alloy aluminum sheet (CAAS) from Bahrain, India, and Turkey, and revocation of antidumping duty orders on CAAS from Bahrain, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Oman, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey, would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time (91 FR 65253-65254; FR Doc. 2026-20904), published October 14, 2026. The DATES line is October 7, 2026. The Commission extends the review period by up to 90 days. The notice was issued October 8, 2026.
Full CAAS sunset reviews are scheduled: hearing March 18, 2027; entry of appearance due 45 days after publication (by our count from Oct 14, 2026 that date is Saturday, November 28, 2026, so under 19 CFR 201.14 it moves to Monday, November 30, 2026).
Background
On June 5, 2026, the Commission determined that responses to its notice of institution were such that full reviews should proceed (91 FR 35706, June 12, 2026). Full reviews are scheduled under 19 U.S.C. 1675(c)(5). Investigation Nos. 701-TA-639, 641-642 and 731-TA-1475-1479, 1481-1483, 1485-1492 (Review). The Commission determined the reviews are extraordinarily complicated and therefore extends the review period by up to 90 days under 19 U.S.C. 1675(c)(5)(B). Contact listed in the notice: Julie Duffy, Office of Investigations. Docket materials are on EDIS. (The Federal Register summary uses both "CAAS" and a typographical "CASS" in one place; this article uses common alloy aluminum sheet (CAAS) and the country lists from the notice body.)
